Dnata Ground dispatchers

I know Dnata have been holding a lot of interviews recently for around 25 new ground dispatchers. I have been told I am in the next batch of candidates to receive a contract.

I believe 15 new positions are being created and should receive a contract soon.

Any one else on that list? Know anything I dont know?

Also interested to hear from those of us who will be heading for the land of the sand so we are not all alone when we get there.

Does anyone know of a potential start date?

Thanks for that Captain crunchie. Dont think I will be in that batch as I have not yet received my contract.

Believe the first one arrives in Dubai on the 20th......
I believe that would be me!!:cool: ......I fly from Manchester on the 20th.
Got my contract through around 24th April, after booking my medical and dental appointments (3 weeks after the 24th due very busy medical centre). It then took around 4 weeks for the results and forms to reach Dubai....Only then can Dnata process the visa application for you.(around 1 week).

It may be a quicker process for others but if I were you I'd get the dental & medical booked asap after you have the contract!

Glad to hear it ACE dispatcher. I originally should have had an interview in February but missed it (long and very boring story) so would probably have been joining you on the 20th.

Time seems to be about what I have been told before. so hopefully end of August/september seems a possibility.

Let us know what it is like when you get there. Should I bring my golf clubs????????????

Finally received a phone call today (sun 20th July) to say a contract will be on the way to me in the next few days.

Anyone else heard anything as yet?

I am told September is the likely start date.

Good to hear it whatloadsheet!...I just arrived on the 21st July and have a great apartment only 5 mins away from the airport!

September sounds like a realistic start date although you will be pleased because it will be a lot cooler than it is now!...wow it's HOT:cool:

Well I had my interview on 25th June, then 2 weeks later received an 'External Hold Letter' email, basically saying I havn't yet been offered a position and I have to wait for the next available positions.

Has anyone else received this email in the past ?

Any help or advice would be appreciated,
