I believe Club Travel 2000 (CT2) are starting their own airline in November. Does anyone know any more info on it or have an address for Crew application etc.....?

Icelandair have just recieved 767's who will be leasing one of them out to man air, who have just recieved their a.o.c. there gona bee flying to Cape Town and possibly bombay. cpt x3 per week. Cabin crew will be english though but not heard anything about recruitment or training yet.
YYC F/A where did you hear about the cabin crew managers job?

Found out that there gona start recruiting late August!! there gona be getting B-757 and B767 to do both long and some short haul work. I'd like to know how the crew are gona have there rest on a 767 on a 12hr flight from man-cpt??? don't think they got bunks on them!! :( :(

Well if they're like the other UK charter airlines they will probably expect you to work for 12 hours without a rest!!!

NOPE!!!! there only gona be based out of Man!! hense the name--- MAN-AIR!!!
anybody know what the seat plan is like??? I know that they got a two class cabin and I also know that the flight are getting very busy already. looks like this is looking hopefull for the new start up. Flights leave on a tue and sat leaving man at 1630 arr next morn then a two and a half hour turnaround for a daylight flight back.. the a/c are gona be leased fron Iceland air but theres no mention in there website about the 767's. I know that they have just leased one out to Yes-charter of portugal. anyone know anything else???

Man-Air won't be the final name, as far as I know. Not least because the domain name on the internet currently belongs to a porn site. Oo-er. :\

re: man air

spoke to the contact sally jones percival 0845 121 5003 today, who said that there is an advert going in the manchester evening news tomorrow for recruitment, closing date 30jul 03, flts ex man to india and south africa on a 767 and 757.

She was really helpful, had to send a cv and pic and they will be in touch, ideally training in sept I think they said but obviously things may change.

Best to ring the above number and then they can tell you all the details.

They've been advertising on ct2.com since monday, and they put an ad in the Manchester evening news tonight.

Interviews for Cabin Crew and Pursers have now been scheduled for next week.

The letter makes reference to AV8 Air.com

Who is this - anyone know?
