Just wondering if anyone knows the history of the old twin parked up at Livingstone airport, I think its a Percival Pembroke, but not sure?

Cheers

While we are on this subject, can anyone help with a sort of aircraft fanatics website where one can post some photos of these derelict aircraft .

I have some from the Congo that I would like to post.

The derelict twin at Livingstone is Pembroke serial AF201 of the Zambia Air Force. Their other Pembroke AF202 is in the bushes upside down !! Both were originally with the Southern Rhodesia Air Force, then RRAF, then NR Air Wing, then NRAF, then Zambia AF. Anyone with nice pictures of Pembrokes are invited to contact me.

Any old Aircraft like that which have been trashed. You may try and salvage the Data Plate. When professionally mounted on a Plaque they are great Souveniers of days gone by.......
