Having been out of aviation employment for too long to mention I have recently taken up a post in the Railway Industry. In common with all other workers who are involved in "safety critical" jobs I have been required to be tested for drugs etc.
This got me thinking about aviation and wondering why we do not do likewise in the aviation industry?
