Rumor has it the money has already changed hands. Looks like SAS is going to be hanging onto them MD80s for awhile.

Do MD 80s need hush kits? Only ever been a Boeing person, so not really up on the later MD types.

Does anyone in fact have an STC for the Stage IV Hushkit?

If they have, what's the betting that its either GE, or one of their subsidiaries!

Always a conspiracy theorist me.

Well actually they are calling "Stage 3 Plus" as Stage 4 certification is not yet available in the USA.
