It's what this is all about, so how about this one I heard yesterday?

A very senior officer and pilot at Innsworth (an ex OC 1 Sqn) has applied to become an ISS instructor when he retires.

Ahhhhhh, but is he anally retentive?

Maybe he will spend his time at ISS examining (perfectly of course), all the pros and cons of doing ISS and come up with the solution that ISS is a waste of time. And then, of course, he will submit a perfect paper that will not be able to be re-butted, and it will get implemented.

When I did ISS a million years ago (and a fat lot of good it did me) I was relieved to find out that my tutor was one of the 2-winged master-race. But; during the "induction day" he spent over an hour waffling on about the use; and misuse; of the semi-colon. Well, I'm guessing that's what he did; he was talking about it when I fell asleep; and he was still talking about it when I woke up an hour later; You've got to be funny in the head to want to do that for a living;;

What are you supposed to do with a bluddy ";" anyway!!!
