View Full Version : Bottom bit missing from my window.
Hi all. Running XP and IE6. I seem to have lost the bottom of the window in IE. The bit that is missing has the progress bar in it and I think it says something like'done' in the corner on the left when a web-page has loaded. Any clues to where it is?

In the menu --> view --> status bar needs to be checked.

Open IE, go to 'View', click on 'Status Bar' et voila. This happens to me sometimes too...

Well it takes all sorts...
I deliberately disable this bar, and try to minimise the toolbars at the top, so that the window is as big as possible!
What IS happening? Today my 'Quick Launch' toolbar (W98SE) moved from the left of the bottombar (next to 'Start') where it has been for AGES and came back on the right next to the System Tray. It will NOT move back!
