More sunshine than you can shake a stick at and piles of classic jets too. Cracking show I thought but then I am biased seeing as I was a little bit involved with this show...

Ace photos again Damian - I reckon you should now be enthroned as the official pprune piccie moderator. Really wanted to get down to that one, but had a friend's wedding on Sat - bummer!

I have some of mine Here (http://community.webshots.com/album/77072041eBoaqv)

By the look of things we were about 10 yards away from each other, I was the guy in the Panama with the 100-400L lens.

Bloody excellent show, I was a little bit miffed when I saw the RC Aircraft but boy was I wrong!! The Vulcan looked odd, but did shock me when I caught a glimpse in the corner of my eye. The Victor was Magnificent.

Same time next year chaps?? :ok: :ok: :ok:

I was just in front of the bloke with the gazebo (!), not far from the Sea Vixen and in front of the red cross tent. That 100-400 does the job well eh :D

witchdoctor - a flimsy excuse, as the show was on Sunday!

Damien

Dark Hair and sunglasses? Canon D60 witha big black lens?(size matters :E ) Did your mate move from one end of our line to be closer to you (I think my chums were saving his space).

Gazebo was a bit too much IMHO

Mrs DB you are madam an absolute saint for putting up with him. :O

> Dark Hair and sunglasses?

Check.

> Canon D60

Check.

> witha big black lens?(size matters )

Nope, had a small black lens on the 60.

Most of the above shots were with my a 10D + 100-400.

> Did your mate move from one end of our line to be closer to you > (I think my chums were saving his space).

Nope. We had quite a group, me, missus-to-be and 3 mates.

> Gazebo was a bit too much IMHO

Quality I thought. Raises the bar for the next airshow. Mrs_DamienB suggested a paddling pool in front of us so we can cool off between acts.

DB's not so bad, you know!

Just as long as you remember to feed him every now and again........... :)

Mrs DB

Feeding??? hmmmmm not sure I want to see that :O

Seriously though, good luck with your impending nuptuals, I hope we'll get to meet up someday.

I hate to interrupt the PPRUNE version of Blind Date but can anybody who was at Kemble say if the Sea Hawk made it and post any pics if it did. Thanks.

As far as I am concerned you can keep your Hunters, Gnats, JPs etc. The Sea Hawk is undoubtedly the finest and most elegannt looking jet aircraft of them all - bar none. There - that should stir up a few hornets (not the deHavilland vesrion which is the finest of the props).

Thanks

Sadly she didnt, apparently still not ready to fly.:(

We did get the Firefly instead which more than made up for it.:ok:

I was also very disappointed that the Sea Hawk couldn't make it, grow45. I'm still pretty new to all of this, and haven't yet had the pleasure of seeing her fly.

However, IMHO it would take something pretty special to surpass the Hunter in my affections. :D It's got the best set of curves around - apart from my own, of course! ;)

Nice pics Damien. Any idea who owns the FAE Strikemaster?

I think - but don't quote me on this - it belongs to Tom Moloney.

G-UPPI is indeed owned by Tom (or technically, Transair - same thing though). . . .
