.How much to the DGAC charge to put a professional rating (e.g. a multi or seaplane rating) onto a CPL?

As far as I know, Charges are reasonnable in france, and sometimes non-existent ... In any case, far cheaper than the CAA.

DGAC will most probably be free of charge, but the DGAC will hardly put a rating on aforeign license.... they are still very reluctant to apply fully the JAR

In any case good luck with them, and if you get someone on the phone don't forget to ask his name, because regulations are varying between the town (local DAC & DGAC -Paris), and even between officers in the same office.
