Can anybody give an actual or estimated figure on the number of pilots that have left Bristows (for any reason) and the number that have been taken on this year?
Just trying to get a feel for the turnover at the moment.

About 3 have left (for various reasons) that I know of and a total of zero taken on. I very much doubt that Bristow will be recruiting at all this year.

I think if you wait a couple of years until the fixed wing takes off again then turnover will increase and a few years after that there'll probably be a shortage of helicopter pilots.

Nothing ever changes!

I've heard from a little birdie on the inside at Bristow that things are so quiet that lay offs are being considered. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I hope not coz' I want some work !:bored:

Flying rates are down all round this year - as very few drill rigs operating in the North Sea at the moment.
