Hello everyone, currently studying aircraft engineering and I have managed to get myself rather confused with this question;

Q) For a Flight Director system with “fixed-angle capture”, the localiser “intercept” angle is determined by the relative amplitudes of :-

a) Pre-set heading and course error signals
b) Heading error and radio deviation signals
c) Course error and radio deviation signals

If theres anyone out there that could help, I would really appreciate it, cheers Ben

Hi Ben

Are you the same "Ben" as on Airmech by any chance?

If so have a look at the answer you have been given to your other autopilot question. You should be able to work out the answer to this one from the replies you have been given there.

And if you are a different Ben (or just cant be bothered to look)

The answer ic C :)

Ben / Cat

Sorry did not wish to sound pedantic. I had just replied to the quesion on the other site (sarge) and was to lazy to reply with a full answer on this one.

If you need any more info on this Ben send me a private email and I will clarify it for you.
