Hello I'm a high school student who wants to become a professional pilot

I have a abnormally bad nearsightedness (-7 for both eyes), however my overall eye is healthy. The thing which worries me a lot is this line of vision requirement for CAT1 in the TC website

(b) the applicant possesses a visual acuity without correction in each eye separately, not less than 6/60 (20/200) and the refractive error falls within the range of กพ 3.5 diopters (equivalent spherical error);

Anyone know if this rule is still active today?

The uncorrected limits have been removed. You can be medically certified as long as you can be corrected to the required standard.

Cheers,

Andrew
