I Am looking for a Pathfinder CX-2 for a friend of mine – working on his ATP.
I see that they go for 65 to 70 US$ new (approx R600). Can anyone help us in South Africa with a used one or refer us? Is the CX-2 better than the older CX-1?

Whats the matter with the old Whiz Wheel.......ha ha. I am coming over that way in July if you want a new one from the states. Looks like we are fairly close to each other if you live in Centurion.
If not I have a "Sportys" used www.sportys.com (which I only used for exams) which can be had for a U.S. $20 bill. You really use those things??
There have to be a lot of them out there to compare. My email is good also:

Have you checked the shop "Wing and Things" at Lanseria airport. Also at Rand Airport I have seen them in the Flight Schools. If you struck for time then I can check to see if they have got when I am out at Rand Airport or Lanseria.

Here is some feedback:
Pathfinders are available in SA - but at a price!!
The price differs between R1100 and R1275 if available from suppliers in SA.
Maybe I should play importer - Cost of about R600 to R700 gives a good profit!
Thanx for all the response guys!

If they are going for about 11-1200 rand, I may bring over a couple...They are on average $80 here in the states, so about 300+ Rand savings.....
Someone wants one let me know....Helicopter Pilot, never use the dam things except for exams.... Hell I thought a Wind Triangle was gettin breeze from three women..... Oh Shucks, better watch for 4 hp on that one....
