I was fortunate enough to have just returned from a 6 month tour with the United Nations Police in East Timor, deployed to Suai Cova Lima. When I was there the NZ Airforce 3 Sqn were operating Hueys and then the Singaporeans took over that role. Also, there were 161-162 Sqn Kiowas as well.
The conglomeration of Australian Army and Singapore Airforce was known as SINGAROO LINES. I am interested to hear from any aircrew involved in the situation over there. For those of you involved, thanks for some great support and some great flights.
