And while we're on the subject of forums I'm on the prowl to guage interest in getting QA and CRM covered. .. .Rob

I would personally suggest that QA primarily belongs in the Engineers and Technicians forum. As to CRM, not sure - there's been a lot of discussion spread between various forums on the subject, but whether it would warrant it's own I have my doubts.. .. .G

I would put a contrary view. The principles and philosophy of both QA/QC and CRM are all-embracing and cover (or should cover) all areas of the Industry.. .. .In recent tradition, QA/QC has been under-represented in flight operations, and CRM similarly in the maintenance/engineering arena.. .. .Both are well worthy of a discussion forum...

Purely personal opinion but I agree completely with JT.. .. .I've already got a volunteer from the academic side to help run it but I'm hoping to find a couple more with hands on experience of aviation to help moderate and promote the forum.. .. .Eventually we hope to make this site a gateway to the, sadly, undervisited areas of the internet such as Chirps and similar programmes. Again, in my view, they are a seed that should be transported and planted right around the world even if it is by the grubby hand of PPRuNe.. .. .Good, well meaning and respectable committee men don't like us but just our Tech Log forum alone gets more hits in a day than Chirps. does in a month.. .. .So, onwards and upwards. If there are a couple of professionals interested please let us know. Active or retired it matters not - you've just got to care.. .. .Rob. . . . [ 23 March 2002, 16:27: Message edited by: PPRuNe Towers ]
