Hi everyone, doing some work on CMC's at college, I think answer B would be correct to this question but my notes are a bit sketchy, If someone could confirm this that would be great.

Q) In a autoland capable aircraft fitted with a central maintenance computer (CMC):-

a) Only primary faults are recorded
b) All faults are recorded in non volatile memory
c) All faults are recorded in volatile memory

Thankyou all for your help Ben

Yes I would say B. But the memory is not true non volatile memory as if you disconnect the main aircraft battery or pull the wrong CBs you will loose the lot. This is particularly true of the B777 where one of my colleagues interchanged two CPM/COMM modules and cleared the memory.:uhoh:
