A selection from both days in no particular order. A damn good show really apart from the tragic Ryan replica crash, and the damage caused to the Sea Vixen.

As you can imagine I was in no mood to put up these up at the weekend (so apologies for the delay John F. - and it was an honour to meet you!) but here we go now...

Growling again...

Great photos Damien! Very sorry to hear about the tragedy though.

Just curious, what sort of equipment (camera, lenses) are you using?

And what happened to the Sea Vixen? Anybody more info?

Is MHJC running G-BEDF now ?. It was the lead publicity pic for the show and B-17 Preservation`s marketing is pretty sparse in the historic magazines at the moment.

Just Curious. SB

Fabulous photos Damien! Particularly like the DC-6s and the Noratlas, which I assume is doing a Que San rather than a gear down loop! :D

Great pics D, particularly like the one of the Canberra dangling the Dunlops. Well done! :ok:

I was out on a lazy sunday afternoon drive around Hertfordshire and just before I pulled up beside the memorial at RAF Steeple Morden the OFMC trio passed overhead on their way back from Coventry. Great timing!

Damien I was imbibing with the great man Hairyplane last night and we are both agreed that your photography is quite exceptional .What equipment are you using?? to compliment your artistry and undoubted feel for the subject.Have you had any work published commercially?.:ok:

Yeah, great pictures.

Why do they have to paint such a wonderful aircraft as a Red Bull can though. What's that all about?

I do appreciate it's all about sponsorship but .........

You give us the same money that Red Bull have and we'll paint it whatever colour you like.

Many thanks all... you'll make my head big(ger).

Stampe - I get the odd newsworthy shot in the magazines but not very often. They seem to be keen on using their own library images these days so I guess times must be hard if they can't afford the paltry sums they actually pay to non-staff photogs. I've more or less given up bothering to send any their way as most no longer even have the decency to reply let alone consider using the shots. Got some pics in a few books too but not usually the sort of stuff above.

You're more likely to see my work online - primarily at AirScene-UK (http://www.f4aviation.co.uk).

The kit is a Canon EOS 10D and D60 + various lenses, mostly a Canon 100-400IS for those above.

Was talking to a mate of mine last night and he tells me that the Vixen somewhat disgraced itself at the weekend. Apparently a panel opened up allowing the tool roll to exit the aircraft, spreading hand tools all over the place. He also said that she shed a panel before touchdown.

After the show, numerous volunteers were gathered to comb the airfield for spanners!!
