Looking at heading down to SA and wanted to know if anyone out there knows of any website with a map of all the SA airports on it?

I have found a list of them but don't really kwo where they are

Flying surfer .. there are better but maybe this one can help so long ..

Click on the interactive map and you will find all the cities and big towns. The Cities shows Airports.

This is one of "our" mobile coverage areas but sure will help in mean time.

Not sure if you have a copy, or if you can get hold one but I think it has all the info on there that you appear to be looking for - except airspace details.

No sarcasm intended mate ... but in SA we call our Airports the same as the town / city (which is normally a max of a mile or two away from it)

So if you have the Airport list ... just look on the map that I send you - viola you will find the airport .. if there are a few sticky one's like Thoyoyandou mail me and I will explain ...

Dude, I know it is not exactly what you are after, and Gunship has offered to help you out, but South Africa has the best weather web-site that I have ever seen.

It only shows the location of stations giving Tafs, but check out http://aviation.weathersa.co.za/countrylist.htm

And then check out the rest of the Aviation Weather section of this website. It is superb, and it's all free!

Gerund, I agree with you I think the SA weather site is extremely well presented - far better than what we have in the UK!

Flying Surfer, You can buy the charts from Transair for £10.99 each. I dont think the kind of details you are looking for are available on line - if Gunship can't find anything then what chance do we lesser mortals have.
