To co-incide with the Manx Festival of Aviation, a reunion for all all service people who were based at Andreas, Jurby or Ronaldsway has been arranged.

Just to endorse this event - it was splendid last year and I am sure be even better this year - over 4000 cars through the gate on the Sunday. Well worth the trip whether you live on the Island or are making a GA trip. Jurby still has the spirit of a 'lock it up and leave it' RAF station.

If you were to make a long weekend of the visit, Monday is a Manx Bank Holiday - Tynwald Day' which is the ceremonial parliamentary day. HM the Queen is coming too - crack out the bunting!

The display programme has been finalised now and is shown below. The programme is very similar for both the Saturday and Sunday

Air racing. under Royal Aero Club Rules will begin at 11.30 hours until 12.45. Racers include 2 x P51 Mustangs

There are still spaces avilable for fly in aircraft - remember - the winner of the fly in comp wins a ride in the two seat Spit. Only 28 aircraft have entered this comp so far !

well, its dawned fine and bright and the flying has started

The sight and sound of two P51's turning over the house this morning, for the pre-race practice is one of the finer ways to start a weekend. Cracking!:ok:
