Now that all the sand has settled, well to a point anyway, a very strong rumour is that there have been rather "numerous amounts" of lads from the Big White Rat enjoying a trip in the back of Emirates 777's on their way to have a whiff of their front door.!!!
MMMMMMM, dont tell me that there is discontent in amongst the brotherhood at QF. Lets be honest with this one now gentlemen.

In the 'good old days', staff were looked after very well by their employers. In return, there was a great deal of loyalty. Sad to say that in most companies these days, staff are just another usable resource. You have to do what is best for you and your family, and stuff the loyalty. It is not unusual for people to move between airlines on a regular basis. A change is as good as a holiday.

Excellent rumor, but my guess is that they were slipping up here to crew the 767 charters that took the boys and girls who have been employed in Iraq for the last few months, back home.
