I am looking to make a list of "memory aids" for flight training. I am sure we have all heard a few, from the very good to the very bad. Things like (for Canadian Airspace) A - above 18,000, B - Big Airplanes, C - clearance required, etc, etc, etc,. I'm a wannabe with a terrible memory, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I m not good with numonics, but here a method of learning and rembering. Get hold of some 'filex cards' 5"x3" read your note and as you find the need to know formulea etc write them down on the cards. take a few cards with you and when you get a spare minute read them. Where your notes have questions put the MCOQ on one side and the right answer plus any explanation on the other. When you go for a drink with a few mates and ask them to choose a card and question you -if you get it wrong you could buy the beers - you will soon get to rember the facts - as long as you wrote them down correctly.

Good Luck
