Hello,
Great forum! I am looking for any expat opportunities in Asia. I currently fly for a regional airline in the USA I have about 2900 hours, 1500 turbine, and 500 jet. I have an FAA ATP. What kind of opportunities would be open to someone with my qualifications? Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, with so many expat and local pilots layoffs in Asia I don't know if there are many opportunities. Anyway I know that an Asian carrier is looking for Metro III captains and a Chinese airline needs 737 drivers ... but don't ask me about wages. :{

A magic number about total time is 3000 hrs for joboffer with a major airline ,so 100 more to go but with your experience turboprop and some jet you should do fine .....go for it cause asia is great place to live and fly ........and it will soon pick up again
