Can anyone please let me know if a HK Class One Medical can be obtained with a red/green color vision deficiency?

Are light gun tests used and accepted.

Any other associated answers/options?

Any answers would be appreciated.

Thanks

G'day Jet A Knight,
I also passed the Australian Aviation Light Signals Test and since then have logged aroung 1000hrs as a charter pilot. Recently i went to Europe to see if i could get JAR certified. They have a lantern now called a spectrolux. I passed it. i found this test fairly easy. The test uses different brightnesses of the official aviation colours. So, you may find it a bit harder than the ALST but if your're not too bad you should pass. A lot of Asian countries are adopting it, you will find in written into there av regs.
Hope this helps

TCAS, that's good news. I am having a think about Europe in the future, once things (hopefully) pick up.

I did do a search, it had alot of useful info, but couldn't find anything HK specific, so my question still stands for confirmation.

I did by HK initial 6 months ago. The standard Ishihara test cards were used.
