JAA Approved MCC in Dublin, Ireland

Pan Aviation in association with CityJet have set up the first JAA Approved MCC course in Ireland. Its an 8 day course (Sat to Sat) 3 day ground , 5 day with four hour sim sessions (full motion Bac 1-11). Only 2 or 4 students per course. Cost Irish £3,500 (Approx £2,730 Sterling)Deposit Irish £1,250 to secure place. September full, some places October, November & December still available.

The MCC course has been approved by JAA. Both CAA and IAA senior officials sat on the course as students and also observed a number of simulator instruction sessions. This is how the course or any aviation course receives JAA approval.

They course is recognisable throughtout Europe as it mets European standards with JAR approval status.

The course is value for money. There may be courses in the UK for about £2,000 stg. but they are not on full motion Jet Simulators.
This converts to approx £2,600 Irish, adding on fligts and acommodation/living expenses you will not save much. SFT offer Jet Simulator MCC for £3,290 Stg (£4,112 Irish).

The BAC 1-11 is used for the MCC and most Irish Airlines for simulator checks. By doing the course you will have 20 hours under your belt on the simulator you will probably be cheched out on.

The courses started in July. They have been very successful and the students were extremely satisfied with the groundschool and simulator sessions. Word have mouth has spread from these students and the course is now booked solid for september, most of october.
