Clickity-click....2
Square root of 1,296...36.

You will gather that I've never done it professionally. However I do remember that they say "blind 40" to avoid confusion with "14".

There may be inaccuracies - it's been a while since I've played (never shouted) and this is the Lancastrian version, if there is such a thing. If in doubt, just say e.g. One and seven - seventeen. Main thing is to speak clearly and to be unambiguous above all else. If they don't understand you en masse, then chaos will rapidly reign and you're dead meat.

Player responses (if they are a good crowd) are in parentheses.

On it's own - number one
One little duck - number two (the players should reply "Quack")
One fat lady - number eight (the players should reply "Wobble")
It's those legs eleven (<wolf whistles>)
Unlucky for some - number thirteen
It's that sweet sixteen
Two oh - twenty ("Two oh ?")
Three oh - thirty ("Three oh ?")
Four oh - forty ("Four oh ?")
Five oh - fifty ("Five oh") ------ etc for the tens
Sixty six - clickety click
Sixty nine --- now, this is where I think they missed a big opportunity :E - can't recall an official call
Seven and six - was she worth it ("Every penny") - may be something else and six
Two fat ladies - eighty eight ("Wobble wobble")
Top o' the shop - ninety ---- if it is the highest number - can't remember

I accept no responsibility if you're pummelled to death by dozens of irate players - I've done my best, but there may be errors. :(
