I am embarking on an ab initio course next Summer (once I have sold the house to raise the funds).

Do any of you know whether I can take the Ground Examinations in the meantime to save time later on - I intend to attend an FTO in the states - probably Naples Air Centre as they are JAA accredited.

I have tried talking to the CAA but it is like talking to a brick wall.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

FLYER Phil,

Is it your intention to go all the way to ATPL. If so, then perhaps the school involved will do the complete package....however, if you just want initially the PPL exams, try contacting CATS Aviation Training - [email protected]
for information

Flyerphil,

You say that you are embarking on an Ab_Initio course with NAC.

As Naples only offer JAA PPL training I assume that this is what you mean.

Based on this assumption being correct, the answer to your question is Yes!
