Can anyone out there enlighten me as to why we have to pay tax on the refund (oh, 90% by the way) of extra insurance premiums due to service risks. 5 years after i take out the policy, I still scratch my head every time I see my pay statement and notice the fact that the RAF ACTUALLY only refunds about 50-60%, and not 90% (why not 100%). Why oh why is this so? Why oh why do we get stiffed on everything??!!
