In a fit of boredom I've been trawling through the web for something exciting to stimulate my mind and peek my interest.

I found a website containing "a diagram and photos which show how to weave rope nets for the purpose of recovering Japanese glass fishing floats."

Another is "dedicated to the scholarly pursuit of flag research between local vexillologists at Washington, Maine".

Amazing world.

Very er...

But thanks for sharing! People do have some strange interests. I find it fascinating that so many people invest so much time in utterly pointless things. Unlike myself, of course, I make the most of each an every hour of the day. Time spent drinking beer, smoking tabs, slumped in front of the TV, slumped in front of a computer or a happy combination of the four activities (who says men can't multitask?) is never wasted.

LOL

First of all, the web site is so badly designed that you can't read their text without a 27" screen.
Secondly, without spending (wasting) alot of time going through their rant, I'd say they are a polar opposite to Grandpa with about the same concern for accuracy and fairness.

On behalf of mainstream America, I do not believe this site represents us , but I will apologise for it anway:confused:

Uuumm, no need for huge screen the site is perfectly legible on my 17" monitor (size REALLY doesn't matter!). Sorry if I implied that ALL Americans would sympathise with the aims of that site. I meant that it takes a country with an English speaking populace the size of America to throw up these odd balls! Amused me anyway! :-)
