I have two simple questions..all of which have been to some degree answered before but...and it's a big but...I am a newbee and need that definitive answer.
Im in San Diego at the end of the month and will tour a few training schools with a view to doing a PPL later this year.
Anyone out there give me some thoughts on Anglo-American or UK Flight Training...and of course if there are any other establishments worthy of consideration it would be useful to know.
Being so new to all this I fear that I will be the preverbial lamb to the slaughter.
Any tips on what to look out for..remember we haven't all got that insight yet!..what basic stuff..except plumes of smoke over the horizon...should I be mindful of?
Finally I keep reading that when dealing with these schools "check that they have availability"...umm how on earth does one do that...I could telephone but I assume like all businesses I am going to hear what they want me to hear....is there a fool proof way?
