It's a question, but as it's concerning a route I hope this is the right forum. Are FlyBE dropping their BHX-BRU route? If so, why? (pax appeal of JY DHC-8 v SN RJ85/RJ100)?

Yes, because they can't compete with BACX and SNba.

It's their own fault. But I don't think they care very much. Wrong type of service and wrong aircraft type for the route. Unfortunately, since the so-called BACX operation is a codeshare, this leaves SN with a monopoly on the route. Watch the fares go up!

Good move..... - BHX-BRU not part of 'the plan' - why waste more money?...

:{ Just as I thought, making a reservation well in advance, the cheaper fares have, it seems, increased by at least 20 to 30% ! Back to ID90s for me. Or, I'm just going to have to start my own low-cost Tristar operation! ;)
