I’ve been ‘volunteered’ to set up a bulletin board on my company’s intranet site and I’m beginning to think that it is going to be more complicated than I initially thought. It will need to cater for around thirty users at present but this figure is likely to increase (possibly double) over the next few years.

Can anybody out in Ppruneland provide me with some pearls of wisdom for creating such a board or point me in the right direction for some good advice? Both PhpBB and vBulletin look to be fairly popular in the Internet community.

Many thanks, lf

I've a buttelin board - I use YaBB (http://www.yabbforum.com/), it's free and easy to set up.

It looks alot like this paid for BB - doesn't have as many features, and couldn't cope with the traffic here - but for 30 users would be fine.

If you've any questions I'll try and answer them.

Cheers
