Juts got an MD83, another on the way and now possibly an 82. What a beautiful aircraft. Nicely rigged and that FMS is the bomb. The GPS seems almost silly since it is not tied to ANYTHING. We parked the -21 we had not too long ago and I miss her. Neat aircraft as there were very few built, I think only 10. Our new 83 still has the SAS paint on it and looks rather odd but should be painted next month, but she sure flies nice.

:D :ok:

Allright. The 83´s should come to good use on charters with their long range. We flew them on Copenhagen-Tel Aviv. The GPS with the u/s sticker on was used when we flew the 2 MD83´s on the Greenland route.

Do you have both the SAS 83s?

I've flown 83s but for another Swedish company. Loved every minute of it. Some might say it's a bitch with balance but I say it brings alittle spice to your day :D

Allegiant has ex- SE-DPI .. now N861GA. LN-RMF is to become N862GA and should according to a source in SAS have been delivered in March, bit it has for some reason been delayed.
Also another MD is rumored to follow . not sure of which body.

Would be nice to see a pic of DPI in interim and new colors ... Airpics.com always welcome new contributions!

I am in Oslo now. 862GA is test flying today and we should have it on the way to paint in the USA on Friday. 861GA is NOT painted yet but will be after 862GA.
