Qf 577?

Anybody know why QF 577 turned around and returned to Syd. after approx. 30 mins. into syd.- per. flight 12/4/03??

So was I!

Engine stall about FL120. Looked OK on the guages, but safer choice to return to SYD and get another a/c.

About 5hrs late into PER.
