Has anybody done a tour / currently on a tour at Warton?
Got any views on life at Warton in a blue suit?
I'm particularly interested to know what the accommodation arrangements are for singly airmen. On site accom., Lodging Allowance or (heaven forbid) some arrangement at a local garrison?

TIA,

Hippy.

Try ringing Warton direct, or Coningsby PSF who, suprisingly, seem to have a decent handle on this.

Thanks, you've answered my other question, which was going to be 'Who's the parent unit?'. I'll call Coningsby next time I'm in work during office hours.

Coningsby will only be your parent unit if you are working on Typhoon. If you have got one of the other jobs there, you could fall under Innsworth or...somewhere else and I'm sorry, but I can't remember where.

For a general enquiry however, Coningsby are keeping quite a good eye on their guys and should be able to answer many of your accommodation type questions.

Hippy,
Call Warton and ask for Brian Iddon. He is a good man. He used to fly Jags and flew in Saudi with me for a while. He will give you the info you might need.
