Any truth to the rumour that RACWA have served a writ on their landlords Jandakot Airport Holdings (JAH) as well as ASA in an attempt to recover some of their losses when one of their club C172s collided with an ultralight on landing? Can't remember exactly when, but this occurred a good 18 months or so ago.

My only piece of advice.............. If you are using the court / legal system to get justice or safety you will be sorry............ Our legal system has got noting in common with justice or safety it only deals with the law. Believe me the law is an ass.........

The tower had already reported being closed. The Air/Ground operator was just about ready to start. Even if he/she was in the full swing of things they have no control over you any way. YPJT was still effectively a MBZ. It was the clubs pilot at fault (although i do understand the circumstances surrounding the accident were difficult for the 172 pilot), but obviously the RWAAC has to be responsible for the cost. No one else was at play here.

This is typical of the areo club:mad:
