Qantas 767 in alice

ABC radio saying Qantas 767 made an emergency landing in alice after pilot reported smoke in the cockpit. :confused:

Just saw it on the telly. It got fixed and came from within the airconditioning system.

Was QF82 a B763 operating SIN-DRW-ADL-SYD.

A/C is now due into Sydney at 1645 some 4 hours and 10 minutes behind schedule.

Most of us were more intrigued to see just how fast two fire engines can scream down a runway chasing an a/c... ;)
