Saw the recent advertisement on almost all pilot employment web sites for Direct Entry 2nd officer and DE 1st Officer on Cargo ops.

I have sent my application a few months ago prior to recent ads, my qualifications is 1500 TT, 500 on B737...I know it's a long shot. Has anyone been called for an interview recently and what's you qualifications?

Thanks and good luck to all applying to Cathay!

Just curious Bax, "way to (sic) many problems over there"...and Canada is a shining beacon for aviation?

Air Canada...TU
TransAt...UTS
WestJet...Pay?
CALPA...Please!
Government...Yeah Right
Taxes...Just when IS "tax freedom day" these days?

Just where do you think an experienced aviator such as yourself will find a reasonable job? This may come as a bit of a shock, but HKG and CX are as good as it gets East of Newfoundland and West of Alaska.
