The seasonal/weekend service is to become a daily rotation from 19 May with prices from £71/£138 (incl) on an Embraer, late morning southbound, early afternoon northbound.

More here (http://www.flybmi.com/bmi/en-gb/sectionhome.aspx?p=194&Rid=182).

More taxpayers' cash sprinkled about ;)

Germanwings to announce a pretty good ticket offer on their Edinburgh to Cologne-Bonn flights later today - pretty good day for EDI all round.

Question comes to mind of like WHY?

Its hardly route of the year, and if it is anything like the summer daily BM did from BHX-JER a few years ago then busy it will NOT be.

Someone else funding this venture, or part and getting something for an otherwise plane on the ground.

As we are talking about the C.I's. What has happened to the independent airline that was supposed to be getting set up by local business men on Guernsey?
