Hi,

I'm a CAP509 Grad with Fzn ATPL/IR and 280 hours, graduated Oxford 13 months ago and havent had a sniff of a job yet.
I've now saved up enough money to either get an instructors rating or to go and do hours building in the USA or a first officer program somewhere.
Can anyone offer advice as to the best couse of action and where to go??

thanks

Don't take advice from Ronchoneer !

IMHO - I would become a UK Instructor
This rating pays its way and builds P1
experience ..
In the S East there are more positions for
FI(R)'s

Hours in the USA may not be as marketable but faster to achieve ..

At the end of the day its time and money
loads of time loads of money..

I wouldn't trust ronchoneers posts either...they are kind of "unique" aren't they.

It feels like a bit of a gamble whether to just go for it and fork out for an FAA conversion and get some Turbine hours or just instruct for a while here in the UK
