What are the minimum requirements (hours) to embark on the ATPL ground school and is an IMC required?
I'm pretty sure the IMC is not required, the reason why I ask is because I have done the flying portion and skills test for the IMC rating but not the ground exam....

Anwers on a postcard please!!

No IMC required.

You need just a PPL.
Don't bother if you don't have a class one medical though.

There isn't a minimum, you just need a PPL.

I believe it is 100 hrs, but they never check, you have a look at the forms and GIDs on the web site, no requirement to send in your licence.

I say again, there isn't a minimum. I started with 65hrs TT. Some schools do have self-imposed minima though.

As Foghorn says there is no minimum hours just a PPL.I would advise getting a class 1 first though.
