We had the same thing happen in Saudi a few years back. IP rolled inverted which was shortly followed by the cadets departure from the aircraft. Loose straps again, but the cadet denied pulling the handle at first and said the seat just went off!!
Later confronted with the pulled handle he confessed to pulling on it to keep himself in the seat!!:}

Wasn't there a story about an instructor in a Lightning , in a middle eastern country, forced to eject from a servicable aircraft, because his pupil (Royal Body) pulled the handle?

Or is that just an urban myth?
