Israel grounds all F-16s

"Israel Air Force commander, Gen. Dan Halutz, ordered all F-16 fighter jets grounded until further notice.

The decision was made after an F-16 jet crashed Monday afternoon in northern Israel. "

Not only does this give them a opportunity to check all the aircraft.

It will also allow them to prepare the F16 fleet for surge operations should things get out of hand in Iraq next month(?).
