Retired pal of mine just recounted the story of his holiday with his young family (very virile chap!) last week, including how he was short changed buying drinks outbound with ***. Quick maths reckoned he was 5% down on the exchange rate......stewardess said SHE was right...asked for supervisor, who confirmed on calculator that he was down 5.25%, so difference made up.

Thought he had heard the last of it until he returned to the airport to fly home, and, in front of many other passengers, was asked to sign a form to say that he would behave on the flight and stay belted in, or he would not fly!!

Is this usual??

Our western culture is very trigger happy and the problem with not hearing all of (both sides of) the story is that it is easy to jump to conclusions.
Big question is not so much what was the issue but how was it dealt with.Did this guy start throwing his weight around/become abusive etc.If it was a polite request on his part he should try to remember her name and take it further. If he is one of those guys that enjoys belittling people who he percieves can't defend themselves he should wind his neck in.

U r absolutely right LAF. He's just a guy he knows right from right. Reading between the lines I think a hostie metaphorically got her nose put out of joint and decided to get her own back !!

There are always two sides to a story though........
