Hiya guys, I was wondering since I am going to have to take the FAA route to get my CAA Class 1 Med.
Does anyone know where I can do my FAA Class 1 Medical in the United Kingdom???
And if so has anyone got any contact address's??
How stringent is the American Class 1 compared to a CAA Class 1?
Any answers greatly appreciated!

The FAA class 1 is just a simple physical examination if you're under the age of 35 (not sure what happens after 35 - ECG probably). Just the usual eyesight tests, blood/urine sample, reflexes etc. Very basic.

I renewed my CAA class 1 and got an FAA class 1 (initial issue) at the same time.

I disagree with you.

I had a FAA Class 1 done at Gatwick by Dr Hunter and I had an EEG. I was 28 years old at the time.
