I have read that it may be possible to qualify for a tax rebate for ATPL training. Is this true, and if so how does one go about getting the rebate?

I think it is possible!!

For example, become a qualified Flying Instructor, then set yourself up as a Limited Company and work on a contract basis. That way I think all your training is classed as business expenses' and is tax deductable........I think!!!

I stand to be corrected!!..............

You used to be able to qualify for something like a 23% rebate on ATPL training under some kind of NVQ scheme, but that was scrapped by Gordon Brown some 2 years ago.

Don't know about being able to claim tax back as business expenses though.
