Gentlemen,

A little help from this esteemed gathering if you please? In trying to get a better grasp on JAR OPS3, I am inclined to frame these regs in terms of the FAA's Pt.135 operations. Am I on the proper track? Anecdotal wisdom welcomed along with those predisposed to be more formal!

If anyone on this forum has direct experience working with both regulations, or perhaps just with the context of JAR OPS3, I would greatly appreciate your input and insight. I do understand that section 3 is helicopter specific.
thanks,
best regards,
K

Well Iīm pretty used to working with JAR-OPS3.

You can find them without AMCīs here:

http://www.jaa.nl/section1/jarsec1.html

AMC means "Applicable means of compliance" and are kinda needed sometimes to make sense of the JARīs.

But really they are not to bad, although I wish we Europeans could just use the FAA regs. they are much better and you have to admit that these guys (Americans) started and were the first with all major practical aviation discoveries in this century. So they know what they are doing!
