A300-600

I understand that they have one A310 and a couple of B737-300's. I know Channex were playing agent for the A310 at one point and have used it to cover UPS flying also but as for the company, well they are an interesting bunch to work with!!

Hope that is all you needed?

They have had the 310 for some time, it was wet leased to TMA for some time and was in TMA colours, when I saw it at STN last week it was in Islandsflug colours. They have one A300-600 freighter and a second on the way may even be in service by now. I think the A 300-600 was flying ex CDG for Air France.

Talking to one of the Icelandic 737 F.O's the other week the operation is all contract pilots, a union agreement gives the company a period of time to establish the operation prior to converting people on to type from within the company.

When I get back to work I will try to confirm the arrival or not of the second A300.

They have one A310-300 and one A300-622R in Liege flying for TNT Express at the moment.

There was a white A300-600 on TF register in Brussels the other day. So it would appear that the second -600 is on line.

I had a look at the Islandsflug website and they list 2 A300-600 TF-ELW and TF-ELB, they took delivery of ELB in December, they also list TF-ELS an A310-300.

Incidently they list the Channel Express B 737 330 QC's as passenger only aircraft and have a photograph of one of them loading ULD'S:confused:
