VG Airlines operated for about 6 months or so out of Brussels and the Sabena ashes... It operated 3-4 A330s on transatlantic services and to Yerevan, Armenia. I presume that VG (or Delsey) had a pilot group that numbered about 80-100 pilots. Does anyone know how these pilots have faired since the layoffs? Any go to Ryanair or the new Sabena Brussels Airlines?

I realize there is a tremendous GLUT of pilots in Belgium and Europe in general, but with good A330 experience, I'd expect these pilots to be picked up. Any idea which airlines have been picking them up?

Good luck to all involved!

Cheers

Some have gone to Emirates, a few flying for Novair on the A330 went on contracts to Air Namibia for a while and now operating the Hadj flights, a few gone to TNT in Liege, some have just stopped flying alltogether.
Hope this helps.
