I've noticed that on a Sunday at Birmingham, BMI Baby runs a flight to Toulouse. Any reasons why this service is run from Birmingham on a Sunday instead of the usual base at East Mids??

According to the bmibaby website (http://www.bmibaby.com/bmibaby/en-gb/sectiondetails.aspx?p=151) the WW5711 runs on Sundays from EMA to TLS.

And according to the BHX website (http://www.bhx.co.uk/scheduled.cfm) the only carriers flying BHX-TLS are BA, Air France and flybe.

What’s your source on this one?

I believe this one is a weekly IT flight

Flybhx,

This may sound a bit ignorant, but whaddya mean by IT fllight????

As far as I was aware, Flybe operate 1 rotation, 6 times a week on a DH8-Q400, (AF codeshare), and BA used to have 1 rotation on a Saturday (operated by Maersk) on a CRJ, but I'm not sure whether this is still running.

flybhx: You are wise in the ways of BHX indeed: It is an IT flight: the WW5713 departing at 1150 on behalf of Airtours Holidays.

I should have thought to check IT flights as well as scheduled. Easy226 threw me of the scent for a minute there by suggesting that it replaced the EMA flight on a Sunday .

Dixie Normus: IT means ‘inclusive tour’, i.e. charter flights on behalf of package holiday companies.

Or a plane load of Tara Palmer Tompkinsons and Lady Victoria Herveys going shopping in Paris or Milan!;)

What is the collective noun for a group of IT girls I wonder? An itch perhaps?
