From the UAE "Gulf News"(6/2):

"Oman Air has signed an $80 million loan for two Boeing 737 aircraft, as part of a strategy to enhance its own fleet instead of going for leasing. The loan is for a period of 10.5 years.

The three lead arrangers are Bank Muscat, Oman Arab Bank and Arab Bank. Oman Air has successfully completed phase one with the introduction of the new B737 aircraft.

The present fleet comprises five B737 NG aircraft, three B737-700s and two B737-800s.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Hamad bin Hashim Al-Dhahab, Oman Air Board's chairman, and the executive presidents of Bank Muscat, the major financier, Oman Arab Bank, and Bahrain Arab Bank."

Not sure if these are "new" aircraft, or just confirmation of the financing for ones previously reported.
